  Salvation Army offers a variety of support to others in their time of need. Located conveniently in the central area of town at a bus stop. I am aware of a few of their offerings through others who've received, as well as, myself a couple of times. In a warm, caring way the staff in the office, listen, offer, suggest & provide as they can. Food baskets, pet food, plus some financial aid for serious, needy individuals & families. The staff have helpful expertise knowledge and when deemed urgent needs are presented, staff in caring, non judgemental ways do their utmost to bring relief to those situations. This organization operates from donations. You can benefit by seeking help but especially rewarding is to give back so others too will be helped. Giving has uplifting, satisfying feelings, remember your hopeless, needy times also affect others. In your thankfulness donate, it's not just big donations alone, it's personally not in comparison to others, your gift back big or small rewards many, even yourself.
